Kazakhstani citizens can now access and share their military service information through the eGov Mobile application. This new feature is available thanks to an update to the Digital Information service.
Users can now view and share information about their military duty status and conscription directly from their smartphones. These new features make accessing this data more convenient and easier.
The updated version of the app includes two new digital information services:
- Information on conscription for compulsory military service: data on the citizen’s conscription status, as well as details on the terms of conscription.
- Information about the attitude to military service: up-to-date information about the citizen’s military duty status.
Citizens can share their data independently by providing their IIN, the company’s BIN, or the recipient’s phone number registered in the mobile citizens’ database. Data can also be transferred at the direct request of an employer. In this case, the employer sends a request using the user’s IIN or phone number. The user will then receive a notification and can choose to confirm or reject the request. Data can also be sent via messengers or email using a direct link to the eGov Mobile app.
To use the service:
- Log in to the eGov Mobile app and go to the “Information” section.
- View incoming requests for access to information in the “History” section.
- Authorize or deny the request.
- If necessary, revoke previously submitted information by clicking the “Revoke” button.
Users can also check the history of information requests and manage access by revoking previously submitted data, if necessary.
This new functionality was implemented in cooperation with the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Public Services Committee of the Ministry of Digital Development, Innovation and Aerospace Industry of the Republic of Kazakhstan, and National Information Technologies JSC.
