National Information Technologies JSC (NIT JSC) and Astana IT University (AITU) have signed a memorandum of understanding on IT personnel training. This agreement will contribute to developing qualified specialists in artificial intelligence (AI), GovTech, and information security.
Following the signing of the memorandum, NIT JSC and AITU intend to exchange experience in scientific and practical activities. The parties will also develop joint micro-certification programs in AI, GovTech, information security, and QazTech.
A key component of the memorandum is the creation and opening of a laboratory at AITU for training specialists in AI, GovTech, and information security. This will enable the development and implementation of special courses for AITU students focused on studying advanced technologies. It will also facilitate the improvement of industry competencies of NIT JSC employees through the university. The agreement includes the implementation of dual training for students at NIT JSC.
The collaboration will also allow for the implementation of MBA programs in IT/GovTech to improve the qualifications of managers and introduce standards in Kazakhstan’s IT industry. NIT JSC employees will be included in the list of AITU lecturers.
AITU has already facilitated industrial internships for students from 38 universities and colleges under previous agreements. The memorandum with AITU offers a unique opportunity to develop professional competencies within the applied activities of the country’s leading IT company. AITU students will be able to complete internships, working with real-world cases as part of NIT JSC’s team of practitioners, with the potential for future employment.
